Sopa with Sahara

While Mark and I are at language class the girls are at home with a very sweet Portuguese lady named, Ceu. She takes them all over the place... to the cafe, to the park, to the grocery store.... Yesterday, she took them to the store and they helped her get the ingredients to make up soup, or sopa, for dinner. Did I mention how much we love Ceu!?! Well the fun didn't stop there for Sahara. Ceu let her help peel and cut the carrots, with gloves of course. She also got to help mix everything together and stir. It was awesome sopa! We all enjoyed a very nice dinner of sopa. And you mamas can imagine how much I enjoyed walking in the door and finding a very healthy and delicious dinner all prepared and waiting for us!
Makes you want to come to Portugal and enjoy some sopa with us...doesn't it!?!

Yes, I can't wait to come have sopa with y'all! Looks like Sahara did a great job. It's great to see them enjoying their new home. Also, I'm hoping we can have the same language teacher as you...I can't wait to see his drawings :) Glad you warned us in case, because Michael and I would have laughed like middle schoolers too. Hope everything's going great...I'm trying to think of questions for you, but until I do, I will take any tips you want to pass on. Also, do any of the other team members there have blogs? I would love to kind of "get to know them" by reading those...let me know. Thanks!

Hannah, I love to check each morning to see what you've posted! How wonderful that you've found Ceu. It sounds like the girls love her and will learn so much from her! Sahara, I'm so excited to see you cooking with Ceu for your Mom and Dad. I would eat your sopa anyday!! It looks delicious!
