We are here, in Portugal... can you belive it!?! My little jet lagged mind is trying its best to let it sink in:) This picture is the view from our hotel window. Yes, that is a soccer stadium, Sporting. Awesome! We had a busy day today, AT IKEA! This morning we went and picked out new beds and mattresses, it took me all morning:) But they will be delivered to our new apartment on Monday morning and then we can start living there. And speaking of our new apartment... it is GREAT! We can't wiat to get start living there. It is in a good location, has 3 bedrooms, 2 and a half bathrooms, a nice sized kitchen, comes with a washer and dryer and dishwasher. Our bedroom windows overlook a courtyard with a playground. I could go on and on... but I'll wait until we are living there and can take pictures.
We spent the second part of the day at a huge mall. We got cell phones (mine is pink) and a few snacks at a grocery store that has the biggest fish section you could imagine!
We are exaughsted after a fun first day here and can't wait to see and learn more tomarrow!!!

YAY ! So glad you guys made it safe and sound.It seems like you're having a good start to your new life in Portugal.May God continue to bless you :) How'd the girls react? I bet they actually had a good time seeing their new place and picking out new beds.I'll continue to pray for them as you all adjust.Miss you guys soooo much but so glad to see you had a good arrival in Lisbon.

Send us the numbers!!!!!!!!!! Beds in a morning sounds good to me, :), how many months did the boys have mattresses on the floor here? Haha.... I've been on IKEA, if you needs any ideas I can virtually shop with you! How awesome, a dishwasher! I have one too...just a litte different. :) Hope to talk to you soon, it is much easier to talk any time now, today at about noon here it was 8:30AM for you all. How cool. Talk to you SOON!

The last weeks have flown for us too, but I figured you'd be getting there soon. How wonderful to be on that side! And what a great city, but the sounds of it. We'll definately have to make a stop in Lisbon on our way to or from Malawi! We've been praying for your family and all the other families in various stages of transition. Keep us updated frequently!
