A few things... and the beach!

I thought of a few things that I wanted everyone to know... random but I thought you would like to know...

1. Tomarrow is a BIG day! All 3 girls start school, Portuguese school. We are very excited because we were able to get them into a school just a couple blocks away from our house. It is called Opoeta we have met all 3 teachers and they seem really sweet. So pray for us all tomarrow as we make another big adjustment.

2. After Mark and I finished language class on Friday we joined our friends, Buck and Donna, and headed to the beach. It was kind of overcast and a little cool but that didn't stop us from enjoying the sand and water:)

We thought we could go explore this old castle/fort... turns out that it is still in use. The Defense Secretary sort of person LIVES there, isn't that crazy cool!?!

3. Last thing... Somehow I forgot to blog about my exciting IKEA trip last week. So, I left Mark and the girls at the cafe in IKEA to have a snack while I shopped. I was up browsing rugs, cause we have wood and marble floors and need rugs everywhere. Anyways, looking at rugs and all of the sudden screaming and yelling starts and this huge fight rolls past me as I jump behind a rug display to avoid being in the middle of the fight. Two grown men were totally going at it... fists swinging, kicking, one guy tried to bite the other... serious knock down fight. Women are screaming (I picked up a few new Portuguese words) and trying to break up the fight. Tons of people, just normal shoppers, get involved and attempt to pull the two men apart. It was insane!! After a few minutes they did pull the two guys apart and one guy was taken away somewhere... the other family stayed around to recover. With my extensive Portuguese knowledge I was able to pick up that one guy said or did something to the other guy's sister, a shove took place and then a punch to the guy defending his sister honor's jaw started the brawl. Yes, I did say grown men, like 30 somethings... both out shopping with their parents. Crazy!
