Tonight was Mark's big party, a Pirates of the Caribbean party to be exact! We managed to pull of two surprises. One- Mark thought he was old enough to have a grown up BBQ but no we couldn't let that happen. Heidi went a bought the theme supplies and we got it all up before Mark came in and realized what was going on. Two- He had no idea about the "Mark Book." It turned out so nice, thanks to everyone who sent in their notes for Mark. It is so great to read through all the things that people love about Mark, especially as he turns 30:)
We had a blast at the party with all our friends over. Lots of food, lots of stories and laughing and plenty of kids running around. Tomarrow we get to relax and enjoy lots of left over cake!

Even a pinata...too fun. Love seeing the pictures but of course would really prefer to have come!!! I was thinking back to some of Marks's birthday, I especially remember the Shrek balloon and the party in Maryland. He has a great month to have outside b-day parties!!!
Yes, and apparantly we will always have a "theme" birthday party!!! I love it!!!
