Yesterday, we took the girls and some new friends to a palace in Belem. We have been to Belem several times but had not been up to this palace. It was really fun, the girls LOVED it! Tirza and Bria's favorite was the throne room, Sahara thought the Queen's bathroom was really funny. We weren't allowed to take pictures inside so you will have to come visit if you want to see any of it:)
After that we went down to the Torre de Belem, we have been there a couple of time and we just can't get enough. Last time we went inside I just couldn't get myself to go all the way to the top... little narrow and windy stone staircase... scary. But this time I was determined so up I went... Bria got brave with me. (Sahara been all the way up with Mark before.) It was worth it, the view from the top is AMAZING!
Then we went to get our favorite treats, pasteis de Belem...again can't really describe them... you just have to come give them a try... I promise they are wonderful!!
