Chicken Tacos

Our chicken taco dinner-- thanks to the Smiths!!!
We are so into our tacos that we can't even stop for a picture- no way this stuff is too good!
Oh, and this is our little eat in kitchen table- it is the only table we have right now because we can't find a dining room table for the price we want. So it's really nice that this one was built in so we can take our time and look for a table we really like.
Just gotta tell you how fun it was to open our Big White Box package from the Smiths and find tortillas! Yes, my sweet friend Allie mailed me tortillas from the States. Isn't she awesome! Along with the spice packages for chicken and regular tacos. I can not tell you how fun that was for me, thanks Allie- You Rock!Mark is off to Spain this week for a Men's Retreat (so not fair) so it is just the girls and I until Monday. I was a little nervous about being here without Mark but we survived today so I am off to a good start. The thing I was the most worried about was driving home from dropping him off at our friend's house. I had not yet driven home from there and was just sure I was going to spend several hours lost... but I made it home with no wrong turns, declared myself Wonder Woman and went about my day:) It's the little things in life, isn't it?!

So tomarrow I plan to spend the morning shopping with a friend- minus kids cause they will all be in school! Then make cookies to take to Bria's class on Friday to celebrate her birthday.
On Friday evening we are going to have a bunch of friends over to celebrate with us. Make your own pizzas and cake, fun times!
The weekend will be for relaxing and whatever else we can think of...
Monday it's back to school for the girls and I will get the house cleaned up and wait for Mark to get back. The happy part for me is that I don't have language class until Tuesday so my brain is taking a much needed break!

I'm so glad you were able to have chicken tacos. We miss our taco dinners with you guys. I really can't believe they don't have flour tortillas in Portugal. That is crazy!
