Sahara's Trip to Germany

Sahara LOVED every minute of the trip. We flew there with several families from our team so Sahara has someone to talk the whole trip!:) She enjoyed the snow but more than that there were several babies at the meeting and she has a blast playing with them. She met every single person that was at the meeting, ate every meal with some one different and made lots of new friends. Sahara and Bria both got to go sledding and those hats and gloves that our Jackson friends sent us for Christmas sure came in handy!
(We put these pictures together for the girls to take to school to show their friends and tell them about the trip. They all had a lot of fun telling their friends about playing in the snow:) Be sure to scroll down and look at each of the girl's collages

Bria's Trip to Germany

Sweet Bria made the best of a rough week. She got sick on the airplane, on the way there. No fun! We thought she was just a little motion sick because as soon as we got to the snow she was our playing:) So she enjoyed one day of classes before she got sick again. This time with me so we were bunked up in our little room for the next couple of days. She finally woke up the last day feeling good and ready to play! The couple days that she did get to participate she loved the crafts and playing in the SNOW!

Tirza's Trip to Germany

On the airplane, on the bus, with friends and in the snow!! Tirza loved our trip to Germany... even if she did ask every morning, until the last, if we could go home to Portugal:) The last day she thought she would like to stay in Germany BUT once we got on the bus headed back to the airport decided that she was ready to go home.

Germany

We have spent the last week in snow covered Germany. It was a training for all the new people working in our region. So we had a lot of fun seeing old friends and making new ones. Mark and I were in meetings the whole week and the girls had classes. The got the good end of the deal for sure... the had tons of crafts, games, movies and even got to play in the snow and go sledding every afternoon!
Bria and I spent a couple days of the trip sick and locked up in our little room (NO FUN!) but other than that we all had a really good time. I will get some more pictures up later but I just had to share with you the video of Tirza from the last night, when the kids did a little show for us.
This first video is Tirza happy, smiling and enjoying the moment.

The next video is not so happy-- apparently the pressure was just too much, she just couldn't take it... :) Haha, it was hilarious, everyone was laughing.. and no, there is nothing wrong with her eye... it was just the pressure of the moment:)

The Little Mermaid Ballet

On Saturday night we took the girls to a ballet downtown. We all dressed up and then bundled up before we headed out for the late show.

It was SO MUCH FUN!!! It was a Ucranian ballet and all the ballerinas were 8-12 years old. And the was The Little Mermaid! The girls loved every minute of it- they didn't move, even Tirza the entire show.

Bria lost her 1st tooth!!!

Bria lost her first tooth last night!!! I didn't even realized it was really loose. She has been wanting to join the missing teeth club even since she heard here friend, Chloe, had lost one. Her little teeth were in no hurry... but this one looks like it got pushed out by the big tooth coming in behind it!
She was getting ready for bed last night, brushed her teeth and then the tooth just fell out:) Yep, no wiggling, pulling, grossing mama out... nada... it just fell out. It worried her a little and there was some blood, which she didn't care for, but once it stopped bleeding she got excited!
We waited a long time for those little baby Bria teeth to poke through... I can't believe she is starting to lose them!

Her big tooth is already coming in so the tooth fairy better get ready... I would guess a few more will be on their way out before too long:)
Yeah, Bria!

Back to the Grind

Now that the holidays are over we are back to our normal routines. We are all back in school again, and this week the mornings have been tough after enjoying a few weeks of sleeping in. We do have a few exciting things coming up... this weekend we are taking the girls to the ballet ( I am as excited as they are!!!) and at the end of the month we are all heading to Germany for a week for meetings. I think the trip is going to be fun but I am a little worried that we are all going to Freeze in the cold German weather. Although the last couple of day here have been super cold, I guess it is getting us ready! Time to go buy a couple of warmer jackets and some boots.
Tonight we are going to Chilis to welcome a new family to our team.
Yeah, chips and salsa!
