Bria's Brain

On the way to the store last night Bria informed that she had some important news. She said "Mom, I can't stop my mean brain from taking over. " She showed my which side was mean and which side was nice and said she tries to only use her nice brain but the mean side keeps taking over. "If only I had some way to stop my from using the mean side," she said "then I would be perfect."
I suggested that maybe we ask Jesus to help her grow the nice side... and she said that really she thinks that until she gets to heaven and God takes out her old brain and gives her a brand new one, she will just be mean.

Ribbons and Bows

The latest sewing project- matching dresses!
I was teaching my friend, who has three girls the same age as mine, to sew and her dresses were turning out so cute that I mentioned I should make matching ones. So the next time I saw her she had a bag with the supplies for me to make my girls dresses. (I know- I have the BEST friends Ever!) Her girl's dresses are a teal blue with a multicolored ribbon- adorable and impressive for her first sewing project. I ended up having so much fun making my girl's dresses that I made another friend a purple dress with rainbow ribbons for her little girl. All 7 girls got to wear their matching dresses to church on Sunday. So much fun!

Walmart Strikes Again

I really don't like Walmart. I have to shop there but I really don't like it. It's the cheapest place to get groceries but I always leave frustrated. My last visit was no different... I made it through the shopping part without incident. In fact, I ran into my friend while I was shopping so I was even a little happy.
Then I got in line... this is where they finish you off, and this time I was finished off by a sweet little boy. I was transferring my groceries from the cart to the checkout belt, this cute little guy was sitting in the cart behind me and I didn't hear what he said but I heard his momma telling him that wasn't a nice thing to say. And then I did hear the next thing he said, are you ready for it?
"Can I say chubby bottom Momma? That's nice to say right, chubby bottom?" Okay so I did have my uggo stretch jean shorts on that I usually only wear around the house but come on... His poor momma was trying to change the topic of conversation without drawing anymore attention and really she was problay trying hard not to crack up, because I laughed until I realized that I was the one whose rear he was commenting on.

Anyone have any suggestions for a great "bottom" workout?
